Collaboration with Garibaldi School for National Volunteer Week 2024!

In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of National Volunteers Week, NG Chartered Surveyors are privileged to become an advisor to the Garibaldi School in Mansfield. Committing to the future of our industry is hugely important to us which is why, following our 2023 partnership through The Careers & Enterprise Company, we wanted to provide further support to the students.

Through working with the schools’ careers department, our exceptional team of Directors at NG hopes to provide a vital link to the local business community and ensure much-needed support for their students whenever possible.

In support of National Volunteers Week this week, we spent time with several Year 10 students from Garibaldi School in Mansfield. During the visit, our Directors explored various Surveying disciplines and students were able to review some of the active projects our team is currently handling. Our Associate Director, Charlotte, also demonstrated her drone piloting skills, illustrating the constant evolution of our sector and the significant role advancing technology plays in our day-to-day operations.

Director Jude Weston commented: “We were thrilled by the students’ enthusiasm, interest, and maturity, and looking forward to continuing to support the school’s excellent work.”

Richard Sutton, Managing Director, added: “At NG giving back to the local community is so important to us. Partnering with the Garibaldi School in Mansfield has been amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed having the students with us for the day. We hope they gained valuable insight into the Surveying profession and left inspired to see that with great ambition and dedication, the sky’s the limit.”
