Making magic happen: Every Cloud celebrates 10 years of giving
Every Cloud, Derbyshire and Staffordshire breast cancer charity, is celebrating its ten-year anniversary with a pledge to help even more people in 2025.
The charity celebrated the occasion with a very special event on Saturday evening at Arleston Hall, Derby with over 250 guests, to mark a decade since it was set up.
Every Cloud was founded in 2014 by NG Chartered Surveyors Director Jude Weston and her friend Tracey Bricknell. Now, alongside the amazing team of eight additional ladies, the team help organise events and network with their contacts with a view to raising awareness of the disease and vital funds to provide treats to people receiving treatment for breast cancer, through Derby Royal and Burton Hospitals.
Since it was set up Every Cloud has helped 241 people and has spent £58,000 in providing treats to those people.
The anniversary event raised over £5,000 to add to the pot of funds Every Cloud will use to fund further treats.
Jude said: “I want to thank every single person who has helped or donated to Every Cloud over the last ten years. It just goes to show that when people come together the magic that can be created.
“We have 10 wonderful committee ladies involved with Every Cloud, we all work and have our own personal commitments. But, in doing what we can, we are so proud to have helped so many people across Derbyshire and Staffordshire’’.
“What’s more, the kindness of all those people and businesses who continue to support us, like NG Chartered Surveyors, create those opportunities which help us raise funds and keep the pot topped up.”
NG Chartered Surveyors’ Managing Director Richard Sutton completed the Nottingham Half Marathon in 2021, raising £4,000 for Every Cloud. NG also kindly donated an auction prize for Saturday’s event.
Jude added: “We are excited to start to plan for 2025 and see what the next 10 years bring!”
