NG Chartered Surveyors celebrates Alicia Lewis’s recognition at NTU Apprenticeship Awards

NG Chartered Surveyors is proud to celebrate the success of Surveyor Alicia Lewis, who was recognised at the recent Nottingham Trent University (NTU) Apprenticeship Awards Evening with a Highly Commended award in the Construction & Engineering category.

Held last Thursday, the awards recognise outstanding apprentices across a range of industries, celebrating achievement, dedication and future talent. While Alicia narrowly missed out on the Apprentice of the Year title, she received the evening’s Highly Commended award, a significant achievement in a highly competitive category.

Alicia’s recognition reflects her commitment, professionalism and continued development within the surveying and construction industry.

Speaking about the award, Alicia said: “It was a real honour to be recognised by NTU and to receive the Highly Commended award amongst such strong competition. Being the only female in my category this year, with no female finalists in the category last year either, makes the recognition even more meaningful. Congratulations to all nominees and winners”

The award also highlights the growing importance of female representation within the construction and property sectors, industries which have traditionally been male dominated.

NG Chartered Surveyors believes it is vital to champion diversity within the profession and inspire more women to pursue careers in surveying, construction and engineering.
