Meet the team

James joined NG in May 2016 with over 20 years’ experience specialising in commercial property management.

• Before joining NG he headed up the commercial management department of Chesterton Humberts regional commercial office
• James handles a diverse portfolio of properties from individual retail and industrial units through to larger industrial estates and multi occupied offices
• He studied law at University, which gives him a unique understanding of legal property matters
• James is also an RICS Registered Valuer and deals with all professional matters such as lease renewals and rent reviews

• Jude works with the head of property management, James McArthur
• She is a RICS Registered Valuer
• She has worked as a Chartered Surveyor across the East Midlands for over 20 years
• She specialises in asset and property management for a variety of public and private sector clients

• Paul has over 20 years’ experience in building consultancy, gained in London and in his hometown of Nottingham.
• Paul has extensive experience across the full spectrum of project work and professional instructions.
• Building consultancy naturally complements NG’s established property management, professional and agency services.

• Charlotte has graduated with a 1st class Honors Degree in Real Estate from Nottingham Trent University
• She is a RICS Qualified Chartered Surveyor
• Charlotte is a qualified PfCO Drone Pilot
• She currently plays football for Loughborough Lightning
• In December 2024 Charlotte was promoted to Director at NG

• Thomas joined NG in summer 2023 as our Head of Agency
• He brings a huge amount of knowledge, energy and personality to our team
• He will take on key instructions and will be an important part of our future
• Thomas has the world’s hardest name to say or spell and is another perfect fit for the NG team

• He has over 25 years’ experience of the East Midlands property scene
• He specialises in rent reviews, lease renewals, property management and dilapidations for landlords and tenants
• Richard has a unique insight into how both landlords and tenants work
• In his spare time, Richard is a keen cyclist and walker

Rosie works within the Building Surveying team at NG Chartered Surveyors alongside director Paul Rogers

• She is a Chartered Building Surveyor
• Rosie has six years’ experience working as a building surveyor in London
• She has delivered a wide range of commercial and residential projects
• She specialises in cladding and fire safety remediation schemes
• Rosie has a strong track record in project management and client liaison

Alicia joined the NG team in June 2022 as a Surveyor looking to progress her knowledge in the commercial industry further.

• She began her Degree Apprenticeship at Nottingham Trent University in September 2022 and with the support of NG, she is working towards her chartership.
• Alicia works primarily in the agency department focusing on the leasing and sales of retail, office and Industrial premises.
• She has extensive experience in the property industry, having worked in both commercial and residential sectors in her hometown of Nottingham for many years.

We are confident a bright future awaits Alicia as we continue to invest in young talent.

Jamie Pervin is part of our new Facilities Management team and joined NG in November 2022.

• He previously worked as a Property Manager and Facilities Co-ordinator at East Midlands companies, and has considerable experience of the local market.
• Jamie is ambitious and is currently studying for his APC in Facilities Management
• In his spare time he enjoys reading, playing squash (badly) and gaming with friends.

• She joined NG way back in 1997
• Rachel is the secretary to the Management and Valuation Teams
• Rachel is also PA to Director Richard Sutton
• She ensures the smooth day to day running of the Team’s business activities

Sam brings huge experience to the NG team.

• Sam holds two roles at NG
• She is secretary to the Agency professional services departments
• Samantha is PA to the Agency and Professional Services departments
• She is hugely versatile and an integral part of our continued success

• She assists James, Jude and Charlotte in the heart of NG’s property management department
• Sandra is an unsung hero working behind the scenes
• She is an integral part of the team quickly resolving any problems that arise

Liz has 25 years’ experience in Property Finance and Management, covering Block, Commercial and Rural Managements.

Previously working for NHS Property Services Ltd as a Senior Property Accountant helping them to streamline their Annual Service Charge and Facilities Management budget process. 

Also worked for Chesterton Humberts as a Senior Client Accountant covering the Commercial and Block Management portfolios.

Liz in her spare time enjoys attending live music events, walking and a little addicted to crocheting.

• She is an integral part of the team, assisting Sandra Hope, Head of Client accounts within the heart of NG’s property management department.
• Joanne also provides substantial support to James, Jude and Charlotte to ensure that all information on our property software is fully up to date.

Sarah joined the team in 2025 to support Jude and Charlotte as Project Support Co-Ordinator for specialist management instructions.

She has over 20 years in administration and PA role in both residential and commercial property sectors.

In her spare time, she likes to go for walks, spend time with family, and when she has time, bake!
