Alicia celebrates 12 months of experience, fun and the NG family

Alicia Lewis, our Apprentice Surveyor, is celebrating her one-year anniversary with NG – and time has flown!

We spoke to Alicia as she ended the term at Nottingham Trent University about her first 12 months with the company – and how she’s looking to the future – and her second year of studies.

I’ve really hit the ground running during my first year at university, achieving great grades that I’m really pleased with. Although I’ve worked really hard over the last 12 months, I couldn’t have done it without the help of the entire NG team, who have offered me support and advice the whole way through. They have given me invaluable experience – and that has reflected in my university work. I’ve also made some great connections with the other apprentices throughout my course.

My first year at NG didn’t disappoint and has been a whirlwind filled with great experiences, knowledge, family and fun! I’ve gained increasing levels of responsibility within the firm and really found my feet in the commercial market.

Late last year, I suffered an unfortunate event in my personal life, but the NG team went above and beyond to help me through this. I found that I had heaps of support and a place where I could talk to people. Everyone really came together to support me – the NG family was amazing.

It’s been a brilliant first year at NG. I’m excited to start my second year at university in September and look forward to what the future holds for me. NG is a fun vibrant place to be – with a real sense of community and I really can’t wait for my time ahead with the company.
