Celebrating progress and driving change: NG marks International Women’s Day 2026

International Women’s Day on 8 March is always a valuable moment to pause and reflect. It is a celebration of the achievements of women across business, public life and our communities, but it is also a reminder that progress in traditionally male dominated professions still requires focus and intent.

In the property and surveying sector, that conversation is particularly important. While the profession continues to evolve, gender balance across the industry remains uneven. Creating visible pathways, strong role models and inclusive workplaces is essential if we want to attract and retain the very best talent.

That is why everyone at NG Chartered Surveyors is proud that Alicia Lewis, Jude Weston, Charlotte Steggles and Rosie Goode will be attending the International Women’s Day 2026 Conference: Voices, Leadership and Change in Nottingham. The conference will bring together women and allies from across the region to share experiences, challenge thinking and champion leadership and change.

At NG, International Women’s Day is not simply a date in the diary. It reflects something embedded within our business culture. We are proud to have a stronger gender balance than many of our peers in the East Midlands surveying sector, with women playing key roles across agency, professional services and leadership. That balance is not accidental. It comes from recognising that diverse perspectives lead to better advice, better decision making and better outcomes for clients.
