IWD 2023 - here's to celebrating our women!

At NG we are slightly different to the majority of the surveying world, with 54% of our workforce being female. For the women at NG its about celebrating how the workforce has and is continuously changing, but also acknowledging that we are an anomaly, as this is not the case for many employees around the world.

Charlotte Steggles, Associate Director of NG, said: “I feel empowered to work at NG. I am surrounded by people of all ages who want to help support and provide me with the best foundations to grow and thrive. For me to be surrounded by strong and powerful women in all aspects of my life makes me feel honoured.

“I do recognise and appreciate the support NG provides to all of our employees, irrespective of their gender, is not always reflected in wider society. Other ventures have highlighted to me the disparity between how men and women are treated, but we will continue to fight for equality and demand more from those at the top. NG champions that this equality is possible, and this motivates me to ensure this change is reflected in as many aspects of my life as possible.”

This year, Charlotte gained her RICS accreditation to become a Chartered Surveyor and has been promoted to an Associate Director.
