Jude takes the title of Mentor of the Year

NG Chartered Surveyors is celebrating after director Jude Weston was named Mentor of the Year last night at the East Midlands Leadership Awards.

Jude beat off competition from a strong field to walk away with the crown in front of over 200 business owners and leaders at a glittering ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham city centre.

Jude’s triumph has been hailed by her colleagues.

Richard Sutton, Managing Director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said: “From the first moment she walked the door at NG, Jude has been an inspiration to our younger team members.

“She is not only the very best at her own discipline, but she also encourages those starting out in a career in surveying to be the best version of themselves. She is selfless, caring and an all-round remarkable professional. This award win is testament to the time she spent nurturing the talent at NG and I’m incredibly proud of her.”

Charlotte Steggles, Associate Director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said: “I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of this award.

“For me personally, Jude has provided the foundations that have allowed me to develop within my career. As a mentor I don’t think she realises the impact that she has on those around her, but her ability to listen, digest and help work through any issue and provide advice, allows others to thrive.

“She is more than deserving of this award and I am so honoured to call her a mentor, colleague and a friend.”
