NG invests in next generation with new apprentice surveyor appointment

7 September 2026

NG Chartered Surveyors has strengthened its team with the appointment of Jack Reindl as an apprentice chartered surveyor.

Jack will join the Nottingham-based commercial property consultancy in September as he begins his career in the industry, combining his role at NG with studying for a BSc (Hons) Chartered Surveyor degree at Nottingham Trent University.

He will work alongside NG’s experienced team across its commercial property services while working towards becoming a chartered surveyor.

Jack developed his interest in commercial property through work experience with surveying teams and time spent on construction sites, which convinced him that the industry was where he wanted to build his career.

He said: “Over the last couple of years, through work experience, shadowing surveying teams and spending time on construction sites, I’ve realised that commercial property is the career I want to build.

“Joining NG is an exciting next step, particularly with a firm I genuinely wanted to be part of. From my first conversations with the team, it was clear that NG’s people-first culture, collaborative approach and reputation as one of the East Midlands’ leading independent commercial property consultancies made it somewhere I could see myself building a long-term career.

“I’m looking forward to learning from such an experienced team, supporting businesses across the East Midlands and seeing first-hand how NG helps clients make confident property decisions through practical, expert advice.”

Jack’s appointment continues NG’s commitment to developing the next generation of property professionals and providing young people with a route into the commercial property industry through a combination of academic study and practical experience.

Charlotte Steggles, director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jack to NG and to be able to support him as he takes the first steps in his career in commercial property.

“Bringing talented young people into the profession and giving them the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues is hugely important to us. The degree apprenticeship route gives Jack the chance to put what he is learning at university into practice every day while developing a broad understanding of the commercial property market.

“Jack has already shown plenty of enthusiasm and a real desire to learn, and we’re looking forward to seeing him develop over the coming years.”

Away from work, Jack is a keen sportsman and enjoys cricket, golf and football. He is also involved in refereeing and coaching football and is a lifelong Derby County supporter.

Jack added: “I’m hugely grateful to everyone at NG for the opportunity and for making me feel so welcome. I’m excited to get started, learn as much as possible and build my career with The Property People.”
