NG Chartered Surveyors strengthens block management support

17 March 2026

NG Chartered Surveyors has expanded the support structure within its block management team, with Alicia Lewis taking on an additional role alongside her existing responsibilities in agency and commercial property management.

Alicia, who has worked across agency, commercial management and professional instructions, will now support James McArthur and the wider NG Block Management team. Her involvement will enhance client communication and day-to-day scheme support, while she continues her established work across agency and commercial management.

The move reflects a natural progression in Alicia’s professional development, broadening her exposure to residential block management as she works towards her APC and Chartered status.

Currently in the fifth year of her Real Estate Degree Apprenticeship, Alicia is on track to qualify in Autumn 2027. In February, she was shortlisted for Nottingham Trent University’s Apprentice of the Year in the Construction & Engineering category, recognising her technical growth and contribution to the business.

Alicia brings six years’ prior experience in the residential property sector, including managing a portfolio of more than 200 properties across south Nottingham, with responsibility for compliance, maintenance coordination and tenancy management. That operational experience will now complement NG’s block management function, particularly in areas such as communication, statutory compliance and maintenance oversight.

Importantly, she will continue her role as the agency team’s retail specialist and undertake commercial management instructions, ensuring continuity for existing clients while expanding her experience within the residential sector.

Alicia said: “I’m pleased to be broadening my experience within block management while continuing my agency and commercial work. The additional exposure will strengthen my understanding across sectors as I progress towards my APC.

“Working closely with James and the block team allows me to build on my residential background and support the delivery of a proactive, high-quality service for our leaseholders and clients.”

As a landlord herself, Alicia also brings an owner’s perspective to the role, providing insight into the practical and commercial considerations facing property stakeholders.
