NG Chartered Surveyors supports Nottinghamshire Hospice through major retail estate expansion

3 December 2025

NG Chartered Surveyors is continuing to support Nottinghamshire Hospice as the charity expands and strengthens its portfolio of trading shops across the county.

NG has worked with the hospice for the past three years, helping re-establish communication with landlords and renegotiate six operational leases in line with renewal discussions. The firm is also playing a key role in the charity’s ongoing growth plans.

Nottinghamshire Hospice operates nine retail shops across the county, generating essential income to support its palliative and end-of-life care services. NG recently assisted the hospice in securing a new premises in Beeston, which opened earlier this year. Terms are now being agreed for another new trading location expected to open in 2026.

Nottinghamshire Hospice, founded in 1980, is the leading charitable provider of palliative and end-of-life care in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, working to ensure that patients receive dignified, compassionate support in their own home.

Jude Weston, Director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said: “We are proud to continue working with Nottinghamshire Hospice and to support a charity that plays such an important role across the community. Helping them secure the right trading locations ensures they can continue growing income and sustaining their care services, and we look forward to supporting their plans as the retail portfolio expands.”

Ross Henderson, Director of Income Generation at Nottinghamshire Hospice, said: “Nottinghamshire Hospice have worked with NG for three years, and their service has always been friendly, personal and professional. We work closely with Jude but it’s invaluable being able to draw on different specialists depending on the project. They’ve supported us in achieving our goals and added real value along the way – it genuinely feels like a partnership.”
