NG's leading ladies walk 234 miles raising £880 for Juno Women’s Aid

21 June 2024

Throughout May, NG’s leading ladies, Jude, Charlotte, and Alicia set a challenge to walk an impressive 734 miles to raise funds and show their support for Juno Women’s Aid ‘Steps to Survive’ initiative.

The Steps to Survive fundraiser is run every year between the 1st and 31st of May, with those taking part challenged to walk 39 miles within the month, the distance that survivors of domestic abuse travel to find their freedom. So inspired by the incredible and vital work of the charity, our NG team set a challenge to walk double this distance, walking 78 miles each!

“Walking to support Juno Women’s Aid has been a privilege,” NG Chartered Surveyors Director Jude commented: “It’s a real honor to support this wonderful organisation and all the good work they continue to do within the local community.”

The trio’s efforts have already raised an impressive £880, with donations still being accepted until the end of June. Their goal is to reach £1,000, and every contribution brings them closer to this target. You can donate just here  👉  https://www.justgiving.com/page/ng-cs-stepstosurvive

Every penny counts towards making a difference in the lives of those supported by Juno Women’s Aid.

Beyond supporting the charity, this month-long walking challenge has been a heartwarming experience, creating opportunities to walk with family and friends with a shared sense of purpose. Charlotte, Associate Director, remarked, “Bringing our NG team together, including our furry companions, to walk and enjoy time outdoors away from the office has been incredibly positive for enhancing employee wellbeing and team spirit!”

Juno Women’s Aid is based in the Heathcote Buildings in Hockley, Nottingham – a premises that NG is privileged to manage.
