Tasty deal for NG brings new American diner to Mapperley!

It’s a ‘Tasty’ moment for our Surveyor, Alicia Lewis as she successfully secures the property deal to launch a new all-American diner in the Nottingham suburb of Mapperley.

Set to open in early March on Plains Road, Nissi’s American Diner is the brainchild of Beckie Lawson and her business partner, Kerri Ronayne. 

Having previously spent 5 years at the Gourmet Burger Kitchen and most recently at the helm of Nissi’s Gourmet Burgers, Kerrie explained: “We decided to open Nissi’s American Diner in an area we know and love and more so as the building just screamed American Diner!”

Fitted out with the classic bistro seating and the feel of an American Motown diner, this new family restaurant will serve authentic American breakfasts, stacks of pancakes and waffles, burgers, hotdogs and steaks and not forgetting the classic US diner favourite, milkshakes! 

“We’re so excited to open! Mapperley is such a vibrant and up-and-coming area and we can’t wait to welcome all our new customers.”
