Team NG: We catch up with our Director Paul Rogers
Now approaching four months since he joined us, we spoke to our newest director Paul Rogers on his experience of life as a vital part of Team NG.
What were your first impressions of NG on day 1?
I found everyone to be warm and friendly. The level of communication and commitment within the company has impressed, it is clear that everyone trusts and respects each other and it has been a pleasure to be immersed into this working environment.
How have you fitted in with the team?
I feel like I have slotted into place with relative ease. There is a cohesive energy within the team that is exciting to be part of.
How does the culture at NG compare with your previous workplaces?
I am really enjoying the culture at NG which is collegiate, open and transparent. This enables quick thinking and agile working which allows me to offer flexibility and responsiveness to our clients.
What skills are you bringing to Team NG?
I am bringing a fresh set of eyes and a diverse experience which can build on the existing knowledge of the team.
How do you want to develop your role over the next 12 months?
My brief has been to establish the building consultancy service line and integrate this into the existing client base to achieve best outcomes for clients. The intention is to further develop and expand this in the future.
Without naming them – tell me one secret about a member of the NG team that perhaps not everyone knows about…
There is an extra member of the team who will often be found with their nose in your bag hunting for food when they are not murdering soft toys: Spud the office dog!
